LM210-28 / LM210-40
The replacement Stainless Steel burners are made here in our factory. They are a direct replacement for all versions of the LM210-28 and LM210-40 grills. It is normal that overtime with the extreme heat that any stainless steel burner will loose it’s protective properties and start to corrode. On new style firebox’s, these burners can be replaced without any tools. Simply slide the front opening over the valve, fit the nut in the rear of the burner into the keyhole provided in the firebox, and it automatically locks into place.
For old style firebox (those without keyholes) you will need remove the nut and attach the burner to the firebox directly. On old style firebox’s, it is common for the screw heads to break off and leave little trace where the hole should be. In this situation you may need to clean the back wall of the firebox and try to locate any remnants, then drill a new hole to screw in the burner. If this seems complicated you can purchase a new firebox or renewal kit which includes the latest firebox design.
LM210-20 / LM210-30
For the LM210-20 and LM210-30, the replacement burner is cast iron. Many of the older units included a stainless steel burner, which this is not a direct replacement for. We offer this cast iron burner as an upgrade which includes an adapter kit and burner. You remove the old burner from your stove and drop in the replacement kit. If you are upgrading from a stainless steel burner, the top plate will need to be widened. We provide this service for a nominal fee of $25 for 210-20 burner plates & $50 for 210-30 burner plates. This will include cutting the hole in the burner plate(s) to the right size and sending them back to you along with the rest of your order.
Select the “LM210-20 Upgrade Kit + Modify Finger Grate” option or the “LM210-30 Upgrade Kit” option which will include the $25 fee to cut the top plate to proper size. Once you have completed your order, send your top plate (without the finger grates) to the factory at this address with the order number clearly marked on the outside of the box. The normal turn around time for this service is 1 day!
Burner Adjustment
To adjust the burners, it is best to do it at night when you can clearly see the flame. With the drip pan pulled out, use a phillips head screw driver to loosen the screw for the air shutter. For natural gas, your gas company should provide between 7 to 11 inches of water column (WC) and for Propane 11 to 20 WC.
